# Article 50 chatbot / AI interaction notice — NL + EN

**How to use:** Article 50 AI Act transparency duties apply from **2 August 2026**. If people interact with your AI system (e.g. website chatbot), they should be informed they are interacting with AI — unless it is obvious to a reasonable person. Put the notice **before or at the start** of the interaction (widget header, first bot message, or both). Adapt tone to your brand; keep the meaning.

**Disclaimer:** Sample wording only — **not legal advice**. Requirements depend on your design (provider vs deployer duties differ). Deepfakes / synthetic media and emotion/biometric cases need different labels. Verify for your product; seek legal review for regulated sectors.
