What this tool does

EU AI Act Check walks an SMB through a short questionnaire: EU nexus and personal-use gate, role (including an Art. 25 logo/modify/purpose warning), Art. 5 hard stops, and common use-case flags. It then shows an outcome card with role, tier, live-now vs prepare-by actions, what does not apply, confidence, and a lawyer flag.

Classification runs entirely in the browser. localStorage remembers your last answers, result, and AI register. There is no account and no backend. The register is a simple list of systems plus a literacy measures log (Art. 4). It is not a certificate, and Art. 26(2) human-oversight competence is kept separate when a use looks high-risk.
